1. List it
Post on the site or send a photo on WhatsApp. Trato helps write the listing and price it in naira.
2. Find a buyer
Trato matches listings with people actively searching, then filters out unserious enquiries.
3. Bargain on WhatsApp
Buyers and sellers exchange offers through Trato, keeping phone numbers private.
4. Pay with Paystack
The buyer pays through a secure Paystack link. Trato holds the money in escrow until delivery.
5. Confirm and review
Delivery is confirmed, payout is released, and both sides leave a review.
Safety
- Meet in a public place during the day when doing pickup yourself.
- Inspect the item before you confirm delivery.
- Do not move the deal outside Trato. You lose escrow, delivery PIN, reviews, and support cover.
- Report anything suspicious. Trato can pause listings and block bad actors.
- Never share passwords, OTPs, card details, or bank app codes.
